The Black Citadel

The corridor continues to a dimly lit room containing a stone altar at the far end with lit black candles arranged around it. As you both step into the room you sense a movement from either side of you from the lower corners. You pull out your sword and notice a seven foot tall hooded dark one muttering an incantation. Your legs suddenly give way from under you and you fall down onto the cold stone floor. You cannot pull yourself up, to weak to do so, under the gravitational force holding you down. You turn back to see Vandil being slammed into the wall by an invisible force and another hooded dark one near him with its arms outstretched muttering an incantation. Suddenly you hear the sound and crackle of electricity in the air. If you don't so something quickly, you could both die here in the next few seconds.
