Precarious Paths of a Postmodern Pilgrim

After attending church most of your life, you went to a non-denominational fellowship in college.

It was fun - lots of girls were there so you stayed busy - it was like a Christianized singles club! But when you'd step outside of the "fun" this church provided, something kept gnawing in the back of your head: Everyone there looked the same, talked the same... smelled the same.

You did little about the dilemma - too much to worry about in college. Upon graduating and entering the work world, you began searching for a new church... and it hit you: it all feels the same. Every church you've ever been to, in spite of music style or preaching fervor.

You know that Jesus loved the lost - "the LEAST of these" - it's all his life reflected. Love, acceptance, openness, patience... you haven't seen any "least" or "lost" in a long time and you wonder if they'd even be welcome in your church if they showed up...
