The Black Citadel
The path slopes down to a the black river. A tree has fallen across the river here, allowing you to walk over it. The tree is mossy and a little slippery. As you cross you look down into the water and it seems devoid of any form of life. At the end of the tree you see the path continues on.
After some time you arrive at high stone wall which looks like the remnants of an ancient fortification. A stone staircase ascends here, however the centre has given way and rubble and stone fragments lie below at the foot of the wall. Suddenly, you make out about five figures with horned helms looking over the top of the wall. You quickly slip between the trees behind you and you make your way back to the clearing you came from before. Which way will you go now?
