No, there's nobody behind you. You're just scared and imagining things. You probably say the partly open door.
You decided to leave, since there's no reason to look at any more papers and it's not helping you get out of the place. The door puts you in a staff hall with doors lining both sides as far as you can see. There are a few fluorescent lights left burning, but the rest are out. You walk down the hall a bit, peering into the glass windows on the doors. Many of the rooms look like offices, but you don't see any phones in them.
The hall ends as another door. There's a window in it, but it's so dark behind it you can't see anything.
