Lara's debt

Lara remains completely composed as the car glides through the heavy rain. She has no home, no money, and nowhere else to go tonight. Accepting this roof over her head is her only choice to get out of the freezing storm, dry off, and figure out her next move. The lawyer pulls the car up to the glowing, neon-drenched entrance of the establishment, where pink and purple lights reflect off the wet pavement. He turns to her with a victorious, smug smirk, believing he has completely broken her aristocratic pride.Lara doesn't say a single word to him. She simply opens the passenger door and steps out into the neon light. She walks straight through the front doors of the establishment, leaving the lawyer alone in his car.The warmth of the interior hits her immediately. The air is filled with the scent of heavy perfume, dim lighting, and soft music. She has absolutely nothing left but her sharp mind and her determination. She needs to secure a room immediately, dry her clothes, and find a way to get back to Croft Manor for her father's journal.
