The Black Citadel
It's late and you don't know if there is anywhere else further on down the path for you to stay. You catch a rabbit to eat and cook it over a warm fire. After eating you soon you drift off to sleep.
Late in the night you here a noise. You kick dirt on the dying fire and reach for your sword. Under the pale moonlight you see a gargoyle flying down towards you. You reach for your sword but an intense pain hits you as you feel sharp claws biting into your back. You fall down and roll over to discover another gargoyle right in front of you. The other gargoyle flies down quickly and before you have time to react, they both rip you to pieces.
