Growth and Grit
After a week of healing and recovery, You are more motivated than ever to ride! And that's what you do, through goals you have set to deliberately train and prepare for that bike race. As race day approaches, you feel more and more ready to crush the competition! But when the day finally comes, you were a bit intimidated by all the kids in professional biking outfits with official teams. But you remember your recent training and the relaxation breathing and meditation exercises that you learned. As you take deep breaths you feel a rush of calm come over you. when the starting gun fires you see that your training pays off as you pass person after person. Overall you end up placing in the top ten! As you head home you can see that you have become a great biker and that you have taken your interest and turned it into an achievement. You have shown grit in overcoming the challenges of crashing and overcoming pre-race jitters. Great Job and now pursue some more interests!
