Pencil Sharpener
The old man did not look happy anymore.
“You have no idea kid. I lost the sharpener after using it, and I have been stuck in the past for years. It is no accident that you happened to meet me in the street today. I have been waiting for a day a student would come to see the Boston Tea Party and bring me the pencil sharpener”.
You feel sorry for the old man, but you need the sharpener to get home, you can’t give it away. “Let me have a look at the pencil sharpener” the old man said. “No, I don’t want to lose it like you did” you say while putting your hand to your pocket. “GIVE ME THE SHARPENER SO I CAN GET HOME!” the man yelled and pushed the table so that it fell on its side. “I LOST THE SHARPENER AND I HAVE BEEN STUCK HERE FOR YEARS!” you ran towards the door to open it and get away. The old man stepped over the table that had fallen. “COME BACK HERE!”
You managed to get the door open, and you ran towards a crowd of people in the distance. You looked over your shoulder and saw the old man running behind you. You ran as fast as you could, and you eventually reached the crowd of people. You pushed your way through the crowd and saw that a lot of people were throwing boxes into the ocean. You looked behind you again and you could not see the old man. You decided that this was a good time to use your pencil sharpener and get out of here!
Suddenly you remembered. That man said something about The Boston Tea Party. You remembered hearing about that in class! Many people say that The Boston Tea Party is the start of the American revolution.
