Reservoir

The next day, we went to the theme park in Payton Jesse had planned to take us that day, Southwest Adventures. It was a usually crowded amusement park, with people usually spending their vacations there, and today was a usual crowded day. If there was any day for the park to be crowded, today was the day.
We were prepared for the long wait though. There was a spot for us all to meet, and we told each other about our favorite rides and attractions. I grabbed one of the park maps and gave it to Jesse.

"Let's start this ride off with a fun one!" I said. We got on the first ride we saw that wasn't super crowded. We got on a spinning ride that went really fast. After it was our turn to ride, we got on and got in our seats.
The ride started to lurch forward. When it picked up speed, my stomach dropped.

"This is insane!" Jesse yelled. "I love it!"

We went up, and down, and went pretty fast. By the end, I was exhausted. I was just holding on so hard I was spinning, laughing, and gasping for air.

"So, that was fun." Jesse said.

When I was done, I stopped laughing and started crying.

"What the fuck?" Jesse said, as he reached out to comfort me. "What's wrong?"

"I couldn't stop laughing! My stomach hurts from laughing so hard!"

"Really?"

"Yeah."

I took a few deep breathes to get my breathing under control. Jesse grabbed my shoulders.

"Listen, I think I need some air." He said.

"I think I need some air too."

Rex came up to us, "Hey man, at least you're better off than Priyan, he's puking." We all burst out laughing.

We went to Event Horizon next, the rollercoaster in the park. The line to the rollercoaster was always pretty long. That reason being, it was the most popular ride in the park. The wait was an hour and a half long, at this point, my stomach had gotten better.

"Ready to go?" Jesse asked.

"Fuck yeah," I replied.

We got in the line for the ride. As we got closer to the entrance of the ride, I got a funny feeling in my stomach. Rex was dragging Priyan to the line for riding the front. Priyan didn't seem to care. Jesse and I were at the middle.

"I'm glad we made it here in time," Jesse said.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Nah, I just wanted to ride this with someone I know." he replied.

I smile as our train pulls in as it's time for us to ride. We all got up, I entered into the train with Jesse and Rex, Priyan got in with Rex, and the ride started.

"This is fun." Jesse said.

I smiled at him. We started to go up the first hill. I was a bit nervous, so I grabbed Jesse's hand. I looked at him, he looked back at me, I felt safe with him. I always had with Jesse. The feeling of security I felt with Jesse, I felt with every one of my friends in high school. We went up, up, up, up, up. I never rode this ride before, I was petrified. Once we got to the top of the hill, I started to breath again. Jesse held my hand tighter.

"Relax, we're almost there." he said.

I breathed. When we went straight up for an expected drop, it was probably the scariest thing I had ever done. Even with my fear, I couldn't stop myself from smiling. The ride came to a stop, I got off with the rest of my friends.

"Alright, now that was fun." Priyan said.

My claws unsheathed one point in the ride. I hoped they didn't pierce Jesse's hand.

We all walked to the front of the ride to take the photo. We all took the photo next to each other. I looked at the photo.

"I made this shot possible you guys" I said.

"You always say that." Rex smirked

"I do not."

"Do too." Priyan said with an annoyingly superior tone.

"So where to next?" Jesse asked

"Well we could get some lunch at one of the amusement park restaurants." Rex suggested

"Or we could explore the carnival section of the park." Priyan suggested as well

"What do you think, Utah?" Jesse asked me
