Everything Went Dark
Elliana was literally being suffocated and impaled simultaneously. The smartest option was to run. Run where? Neither of the two knew. Jennan and Jordan just needed to get away from this place. Elliana was making enough sound, which was a curse to hear but a blessing for their safety. They rolled out from under the table and got up to their feet. As quietly as possible, Jordan turned the door handle and pushed the door open.
Of course the door was creaky.
Jennan and Jordan looked at each other in a panic. But the alien creature was so distracted with Elliana that it didn't notice them. But others might have. Jennan pushed the door open without being cautious and after doing a quick scan of the area she ran out of the house. Jordan followed after her. Jennan stopped up ahead seconds after. She looked back at Jordan, who had just caught up to her. Jennan looked around and after hearing a loud fire alarm going off in the distance, she decided it was semi-safe to talk. She lowered her voice and whispered,"Where are we going?"
Jordan didn't know. A torn advertisement blew past them. And then Jordan realized that the place advertised was where they needed to go. The paper blew away before she could show Jennan. Jordan didn't want to risk speaking, so she just started speed walking down the street.
Jennan had no clue where Jordan was going and she wasn't sure if she should follow. What should Jennan do?
