Everything Went Dark
Jordan should probably take cover for a few minutes, just in case. Jennan had more room under the table, so that's where Jordan went. As she sped walked past Elliana's hiding spot, Jordan noticed that the fridge door had closed. Elliana probably closed it for extra protection. Surely, she was smart enough to keep it a crack open. Jordan didn't look closely enough to see if there was one. She slid under the table and crouched close to Jennan. She slid one of the guns and a few rounds towards Jennan. Jennan silently took them.
The demon creature that Jordan had shot on the stairs was waking up. They heard it try to move away from the crushed stairs. As long as they would stay silent, it was be safe and they would leave and figure out a plan from there-thump thump thump. A pounding sound made everyone freeze. Noise was very undesirable. And the sound was definitely inside the kitchen, but where? After looking around, Jennan lightly elbowed Jordan and pointed at the fridge. The same mangled fridge Elliana was hiding in. It became clear that she was trapped in and couldn't get out. That meant in a few minutes she wouldn't be able to breathe.
Unfortunately, Elliana was accidentally getting the attention of more than just Jennan and Jordan. The alien spider crawled quickly into the room and paused to listen. Elliana didn't hear the thing crawl inside the room and continue to pound on the fridge door. The creature got closer to the fridge so it can rip it from the wall and try to stab its appendages into it. Elliana's pounding increased speed and her muffled screams were heard. The fridge was already crushed, it was insane that Elliana had managed to fit in it in the first place. The creature pulled its leg out of the fridge then stabbed it in a different place. This time when it pulled the leg back out, it was covered in blood. Elliana's screams worsened.
Now was Jennan and Jordan's chance to leave.
