A Buff's Tale
You remember that you received an anonymous tip that someone had abandoned a box of priceless VHSs in a nearby neighborhood. You hop in the mobile VFA, gently putting aside some VHSs that had fallen into your seat.
"It's go-time" you say to yourself, and speed off as quickly as you can. You have a feeling that there's several other buffs about that are trying to get the contents of the box, so you have to get there fast. You finally round the corner and see that the box is there, with no one around. Looks like your fast driving paid off.
You exit the car to check out the haul. "You've Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally, Top Gun, City of Angels," you say to yourself under your breath. "Looks like someone was once a real Meg Ryan head. Why would they get rid of these?"
After rifling through the tapes, you realize you've been at it for a few minutes now. It's time to go. These tapes need to reach a secure location. You get into the car and put the box into your lap. There's no room in the car for these tapes. They'll have to go to the stationary archive.
You drive home, keeping an eye out for any more boxes on the side of the road, but encounter none. You finally arrive at your apartment. The VFA. You push the door open, displacing a few stray tapes. The blue screen of the TV glows invitingly. You put the box down. It's been a long day, time for a movie. You go up to your shelf. 3 movies in particular stick out to you. Which will you watch?
