A Buff's Tale
The On Location theme plays. You can't wait to see the fruits of your labor, and you're even more excited for buffs around the world to see it. The theme fades out as your segment fades in. "Hey guys, I'm here right next to Griffith Observatory, where Rebel Without a Cause takes place, starring our very own... James Dean! If you're a movie buff, this location is worth a pilgrimage or two. Back to you Tim."
The On Location theme plays again. The segment came out even better than you'd imagined. You're so happy that you have the ability to create such great segments that can bring expertise to movie buffs all around the world.
"Ok, that one was pretty neat" says Tim in a rare display of sincerity. Even he can't deny how good this segment was. "Ok, that's it for the show. Thanks Gregg for being the guest. And s- and uh, have a great day, and enjoy the movie."
The lights go out as the On Cinema theme plays. Tim leans over to you and whispers "I don't want you to keep mentioning James Dean, ok?"
"Why not?" you retort.
"Because he's not real. He died in the 50s or 60s, and-"
"If you don't even know when you think he died," you interject, "what makes you think you're such a James Dean expert?"
"I'm not an expert, but that man is not James D- you know what, I don't have time for this. I have a photoshoot to get to, I've hired a guy that's pretty pricey and he's waiting for me and you're costing me a lot of money right now." Tim storms off, knowing he can't win this argument.
