Behind the Shield: Bomb Squad
"Captain, looks like I have no real choice but even if i did I think I still would want to be in the bomb squad." you say handing back the memo to the Captain, "Besides I'll still be a part of the SWAT Team, it'll just be working with bombs."
"Well I'm glad you want to do this. I still need to find one other person to join in as your partner. I can't pick anyone else from SWAT because then I wont have enough for the SWAT Team so I need to pick an officer from patrol"
You look at the captain as he looks through some personnel files. "Have you decided on anyone?"
"Well I have 2 to choose from. Officer Jackson and Officer Smith."
You know of both officers from running into them on the street. Both have no more than 3 years on the department and you know you will be responsible for any mistakes they make. Officer Jackson has served his last six months working vice and has been with the dpeartment for 3 years. Officer Smith has only been with the department 1 year and 8 months, a real time rookie, but he has been enlisted in the Marine corp special forces prior to becoming a cop.
"So who do you think you would trust working with?" ask the Captain," after all you will be head bomb investigator on the squad and it will be you and whoever else playing with a bomb."
