Everything Went Dark

Jack was drawn to the typewriter. It was typing on it's own, how could he not be interested? Anyways, it is, obviously, an older typewriter. There was a pile of scattered and unorganized papers behind it. Jack first tries to type something on it. It was typing much to fast to be able to read what it was saying, which is why he assumed that it was gibberish. Jack reached his hand out to press one of the buttons. The button went down, but nothing happened. The typewriter continued to type on its own.

Jack decided that he should look at the papers behind the type writer. He picks up one up and skims it. It doesn't make any sense. He picks up another. What does it mean? They seem to be apart of different stories, but with the same characters. The typewriter has slowed. He looked at it to see what it was typing.

Weird.

'Weird.'

Jack continued to read as the typewriter typed. It begins to tell the story of something very familiar. Jack recognized what was going on. It was what had literally just happened to him. How did this typewriter know? It got everything exactly right. It slowed to a stop. Jack leaned closer. It began to slowly type a sentence. It was only three words. What were they?
