Everything Went Dark

Jack expected that they would go to some creepy, abandoned asylum or barn. But no. The hideout was literally just some random house in a random neighborhood. I guess that makes things less ominous. It was a nice neighborhood too, it was one of the two story ones that every house looked identical. Once the car pulled up, Tatum swung the door open and practically dragged Jack out of the car and inside the house. He stepped inside the house. Tatum didn't follow him. Once he was inside, she closed the door and locked it. Jack tried to open the door again, but Tatum had made sure that wasn't possible. He gave up trying to open the door and looked around. The lights were dim, so he could still see. Jack looked around the room. It was basically empty except for three podiums. There were items resting on the ground. One had a radio, one had a typewriter, and the other was a mirror.
