English Project Choose Adventure
You decide to attract the mermaid by yelling for help.
After rigging and sailing a small boat by the shore, you scream out for help repeatedly.
You make sure to pretend to dump water from the boat, as if you're whole boat is about to sink (or burn)...
After 15 minutes of this act, you hear a rushing sound in the water break the chaos of your screams and act. Before your eyes, a mermaid appears grabbing onto the side of the deck of your ship. She asks if you need help and in order to complete your mission you decide to say yes.
She offers to help you in exchange for a nice conversation and some insight into human knowledge. Being a mermaid is lonely, after all. Whats hangs in the balance of this interaction is a matter of morals. She has offered her help thus far, innocently and what appeared genuinely. Do you really need to capture her?
