Max uses the momentum of the Ghost's flight to yank them forward and into the silver bell. The bell rings out a single high-pitched note, and the Ghost crumples to the ground, screaming as if the sound hurts them. It turns wispy and floats out of the arena along with the other forms of the Spirit of Christmas.
