"I'm here alone but, as nice as it was getting my drink paid for, I just need some time to myself."
"Hey," the man says, smiling. "Don't be like that! I just thought you looked sad and might enjoy some company or, you know, something else."
He winks.
"Again, thank you for the drink," you say with a sigh. "I'll buy you one in return and then we'll leave it there."
"I just want to chat," he persists, moving bis stool closer to yours. "You're here, I'm here, why not get to know one another? I'd love to get to know you a little more... intimately..."
