The Adventurous McGurn
You get off of the bus and head to the nearest pub.
Thankfully, the coronavirus plague that decimated the Earth had finally been contained and so people are free once again to go out to eat, drink and be merry. You, however, just want a drink and are partly regretting using up your emergency vodka!
You enter the pub and head to the bar, catching the bartender's eye. They're cute but you let the thought pass as you order your drink.
As you are about to pay, a man leans past you and hands the bartender some cash.
"I've got this," the man says jovially and pulls up a bar stool as the bartender takes the money. "Are you waiting for someone?"
