Here in the USA, you gotta follow things called 'laws'....and the law says that the people of the territory in question get to vote on if they want to become a US state or not. The Iraqi people vote, and the result is 14,057,869 to 7 AGAINST joining the United States.
Maybe if your brother Jeb was Governor of Iraq, the results would've been different.
