I opened my eyes, starting to adjust to the translucent light that was coming from one source. I had laid down onto the sand during the night and now I was staring up at the dark purple sky, the ends of it starting to redden and turn brighter. For a moment, I saw a falling star. Or it could've been a freighter passing by.

As my eyesight adjusted and I pushed myself off where I was laying, dusting off the sand from my shoulders, I looked at something I..couldn't quite place.

"Hello there." A voice came from the figure, and I rubbed my eyes, trying to figure out if it was a dream.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi?" I whispered, the bearded, old man sitting beside the pile of ash that was a few hours ago, a roaring fire. He smiled at me, his hood pulled down to rest against his shoulders.I noticed the lightsaber still attached to the Force-Ghost, if I remember correctly? I had read as a child about Force Ghosts and the Jedi, even when my father didn't want me to. Staring at something like this pushed my mature self away from reality and suddenly I was 7 years old again, with a Jedi book clasped under my blanket and hiding in the night to read while my father and grandfather were asleep.

"It is me." He smiles wider and looks over to the sleeping form beside my legs, which I identified as Navaien. Further from us was Rogan, who had fallen asleep while leaning against the side of the dune. I figured she didn't sink because of the Force.
