When we reached both Rogan and Rose, it was already getting dark, with the suns starting to set under the horizon. My eyes started drooping as I saw no reason why we should continue walking during the night, considering we had no lights with us other than a currently empty pad and a lightsaber.

We found solace in one of the sand dunes, not far from where I could see Canto Bight lit up in the distance. I settled to drop on the sand, sinking low as I watched Rose light up a couple of dry branches with shots from her blaster. Effective. I huddled close to the blanket I was given, wrapping my arms around myself as I stared at the crackling fire. It danced in front of my eyes and I let a small chuckle leave my lips, the fire becoming mere blurry dots in my eyesight.

Suddenly, I got hit by a heavy something, looking up and grunting when I realized that the thing that hit me was a protein bar. "eat, you'll need the energy," Rogan says, slipping past me to sit down beside the fire, half her face lit up by the orange flames. I only nodded in retaliation, starting to slowly unwrap the chocolate bar. From some unidentified corner of the dune, I could hear Rose and Navaien arguing over something, but I ignored them.

I stared at the Force-sensitive individual in front of me, her touching around the flames being slightly interrupted by the sound of my crunching. She had taken the end of one of the branches and was currently pushing around the burning trees in the fire, her metal hand glinting in the flame.

What? Metal what?

I ate the bar quickly and blinked a few times as I stared at the shining limb, the four digits tightly around the branch. It looked like it was the same metal Captain Phasma's armour was made of, but I didn't question anything when I saw it, out of fear of what was going through my head. Was this undeniable proof of Rellia's heritage? The story said a burnt arm, as I recalled from General Organa's story, but ti could've been easily replaced in the Outer Rims with a metal one if it wasn't usable anymore. I looked away when I heard sinking footsteps approaching me from behind, and I pretended I was asleep.

Rose settled by Rellia, pressing her hand against the girl's back. My eyes were opened just slightly to watch them, as I listened in to their conversation. I couldn't make out most of the speaking, but some of the chuckles and Huttese I could figure out, just by the fact that I was used to reading Frost's lips.

"So what, you're into Twi'leks now?" Rose asked, pressing a hidden kiss against Rogan's upper lip. The other girl smiled but she shook Rose off, continuing to stare at the flame but now throwing the branch into the fire. Somehow, I felt the Sith stare at me, even if she wasn't doing it physically.

"I'm saying they're not as ugly as everyone says."

"You're interested in interspecies relationships?" Rose asked, red eyes scoping out the profile of the dark haired girl. Rogan shrugged and I grimaced under the shadows of my brown blanket. Rose was always a bit speciest. "It's just you whose not into it."

"I'm not going to have a threesome with a fucking Twi'lek."

"Never asked you to, Rose. Goodnight." Rogan pushed herself off the sand and ruffled the top of Rose's inexplicably straight hair, passing her as she went towards the shadowy figure on the lookout over the dune, which I could recognize as Navaien.

I finally closed my eyes, finding the rest of the night to be boring, as Rose turned her back to the flame and started to breathe deeply.

Sometime in the night, I started turning in the sand. I didn't like the feeling, as if I was being watched. My eyes were blinded by some blueish light that I didn't know the source of, but my hands pulled the blanket tighter. I could feel that it wasn't still morning because of the dark sky, but the fire was most probably only smoke by now.
