And All Things Will End

Your eyes snap open, bloodshot and red. Your ears are filled with the droning of a thousand insects. There were flying insects in the barn before, but now they seem to be in force. You inhale through your mouth, and feel them upon your tongue. Some go down your throat with such speed that it seems to be intentional. You reach up and feel your face, finding it to be spongy. You smell like a corpse. Loud snores at irregular intervals can be heard from the darkness, which you assume to be Hunter's.

Aela was buried under her blanket, but when she heard you stirring she came out from underneath.

"Can't sleep either, huh?" She asks as her hands wave around frantically, swatting futilely at the numerous insects.

You don't respond, reasoning that the answer would be obvious. Your body and mind feel weak, as though they have just undergone a great ordeal. In the distant crevices of your consciousness you feel regret, but are uncertain as to its origin.

You are drained. Your head lolls to the side, and you struggle for a distraction. Aela is silent, seemingly waiting for something.
