Time Traveler

Ah, Paris! Small boats float along the Seine. I am standing on the Pont aux Meuniers, or Miller's bridge. As a hobby cryptographer I must visit Blaise de Vigenère, the inventor of a famous cipher system. My modern French may be difficult for him to understand and vice versa, but we have both studied classical Greek and can use that if necessary. I would have come at an earlier date but I wanted to avoid the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre. Vigenère is an old man now, but still publishing articles of scientific merit.
