The Weekend of a Competitive Dancer
You finally made it to awards after the hassle of the last day and the few days before. You are so proud of yourself for actually making it to this point, it made you a stronger person.
The announcer calls up top five dancers. He screams "In fifth place..., in fourth place..., in third place..., in second place..., and." He still hasn't called your name, s you know you didn't place overall. This is what you expected after the day you have had. It is disappointing, but you knew this was going to happen, plus, you don't even think your a good dancer. Then miraculously, he announces "In first place, we have Sarah from Believe In Yourself Dance Studio."
You cry with joy and are overwhelmed with all types of emotions and feelings. You actually did it, you achieved something you never thought you could. This is when you knew no matter what you laced, today you became a stronger and better person inside and out.
