Hiei Part 1

*Allow the heavens to fall; and swallow the one who shall become* you read. The disc began to come down rather slowly, but just as this was happening, the minions of midnight were coming. Gray ghosts shot down from the glass roof and pushed themselves into the jaguar statues, the small ones anyway. The fire that lit up the torches changed to black. "Hiei, your the strongest jumper," Kurama said. "What's your point, Fox?" "You'll carry her over the pass," Kurama said, looking at you, knowing that no matter how long your running start may be, you wouldn't make it. Hiei answered with his usual "hn" and stepped down on one knee. You looked at him, "Well? What the hell are you waiting for?" he barked. You tucked the scrolls into your pants. *Likaid, you can jump it?* *I can* he nodded. You got onto Hiei's back and he stood, piggyback style. Kurama jumped and made it, and then Likaid; the status began to move as they were awoken. Hiei took a few steps back, ran and leaped. He reached the other side, but the weight of both of you made his knees buckle, and he fell forward. You were thrown off his back and rolled only a few feet, closer to the center of the disc. Where a long golden pole with a square sitting on it was placed. Just as the disc felt you touch it, it began to rise up again, and the jaguar status awoke fully, moving around, realizing you were there. You stood and Hiei got up. "You guys ready?" you asked them, placing the dark scroll on the square where you could read it.
