Hiei Part 1

Hiei dropped from the disk and ran to you. He called your name and then asked if you were all right, as he lifted you into his arms. "Yeah, my heads a little dizzy, but I think I'm fine," you answered, rubbing your eyes to and then your forehead. Letting your hand drop to your side as Hiei lifted you up. His embrace was warm as he held you, making you faintly smile. "Did you mean it?" you finally asked. "Mean what?" the fire demon almost snapped, but was happy for you to be alive. "That you'd be my reason?" you then whispered, not pulling your eyes from his. You were lost in his gaze, you watched as his eyes slowly closed, and his face neared yours. You could fell the warmth of his breath touch your fragile skin, and then there was a blinding light. You both looked up to see what had happened.
