A Day in the Life

You get ready and step outside. You are feel a little too sluggish to hurry to work this morning. Lately, you have been getting a little annoyed with your boss and fellow employees. You've been there for a while but still notice that your boss largely disregards you and looks straight at the interpreter when you are talking. When your boss responds they say, "just tell them..." instead of addressing you directly. It drives you crazy!

**PAUSE** and read You and Your Deaf Employee (pg. 2-3) and Deaf-Friendly Organizations (pg. 3-4).

"Well," you think looking around yourself, "At least it is a beautiful morning!" You glance at your watch and are happy to see that you're not running as far behind as you thought. Hmm, you'd probably have time to walk to the cafe then to work and enjoy this beautiful morning.
