Dark Secrets
"I'm sorry." you say to her. "I would love to take this relationship to the next level, but I can't." you say holding up the hand with the promise ring on your finger. The woman looks crushed. After putting her clothes on again she promptly slaps you across the face.
"Tell me why you're here." you say with a throbbing cheek.
"Don't you understand yet?" she asks apparently amazed.
"No I don't!" you almost shout at her. "All I know is that I woke up in St. Mark's just a short while ago, heard a scream, ran out until a man gave me a bloody dagger! I heard police so I ran home. As I came in my house a robed man tried to kill me with this sword and I killed him with the dagger!" You are so upset you're almost crying.
"Killed who? me?" comes a voice from behind you. You turn to see the robed man standing unharmed with the dagger in his hand. He's smiling. Then a crew of men walk out of your kitchen with cameras and microphones.
"Cut! That's it for today fellas!" yells a voice. Looking around you realize your house isn't even real! The woman speaks again.
"That short term memory loss sucks doesn't it?"
