A shadowy figure

As you make a right turn, away from the car, your leg is caught on the side of the curb. You trip and injure your nee. Jumping up, you sprint off the way of the sidewalk. The footsteps behind you grow louder, but upon glancing back, you see nothing. You decide to continue running, but soon run out of stamina. After looking around you, to inspect if there is someone nearby, you sit down on a curb. A cold air immediately hangs over you, but after sprinting for such a long period of time, you can't find it in yourself to sprint farther. The coldness grows, and soon it overwhelms you. Your vision slowly starts to narrow, until you see a creepy figure coming up to you. The last thing you ever see is the flash of his weapon, and then the cool embrace of death.
