You didn't say anything as you looked away. You felt somewhat bad for the half demon, because in fact you didn't return the same feelings. Sure you liked him, but you didn't love him. And if you did, it was too early to tell. "I'm sorry Inu Yasha," you finally said, not meeting his eyes, "I can't return the same feelings for you." You then looked down at him; you could see pain creep over his face as he looked away. The pain wasn't from his wound, it was from what you said, you made him relive the pain he just had all over again. You lied, the worst wasn't in fact over, it had just began.
