Just an Ordinary Day in the Life of an Ordinary Girl
With a last effort you try and reach the dark area. You feel an undescribable feeling of relief coming over you when you feel wind on your face and air flowing into your lungs again. All the energy is drained from your body and you are pulled back into the water again.
A moment later, however, you feel a strong arm around your waist pull you up again. The next thing you know you are lying in the sand and start coughing horribly. Zack is kneeled beside you and helps you up.

"It were those damned rocks," Zack explains when you caringly help him stand up after having applied the bandage. "I searched the area for you when I saw you disappear in the water. I was lucky to see you come up the surface for a moment so I knew where to look."
Pain is written across his face, now only lit by the last bit of fire of the setting sun. It's a beautiful sight, if it weren't for the pain part.
"Sshht, don't talk," you order him.
"Okay," he whispers, then bends over and kisses you tenderly.
For a moment you are paralysed and you can't think. You're in shock. A pleasant shudder runs through your entire body. Then you...
