Out of Time
You decide that it's time to go home, as the need for answers continues to grow.. Your toes slip into the crystal blue waters as you begin to tread in them again. You hear your parents' voices grow fainter and fainter as you swim further away.
It hits you that Evita never told you how to get out of a memory. You're stuck here. The thought of being stuck here alone forever without an idea of what's happened to you causes you to hyperventilate and start sinking beneath the waves. You desperately think about the hospital room, but nothing happens. You sink further down into the ocean, knowing that your air supply won't last long. You then think about your comatose self and how much you need to get back now.
That does the trick. The blinding white light comes back again.
