Into the Unknown

Your head aching and your eyes cloudy, you unsteadily get to your feet. The ground around you seems to swirl and change in hues unnatural, and any fellow travelers around you are now absent entirely. Trees appear to extend as far as you can see, while at the same time fitting neatly in your palm. Your senses are flooded with stimuli, as if twenty people were each shouting a story directly into your mind in languages you only barely comprehend. Struggling to focus on one, you find your mind grasping for something steady and real. The din of chaos and color begins to subside, and you finally find yourself able to make some sort of direction out of this strange location. Though your vision seems unreliable, the sounds and smells around you help guide you to your next location.
