Gotham's Story
With a skeptical, but excited look on his face, Wildcat brings the bow down to you. From that point on, your life is changed. You spend years with the bow until you have a deadly accuracy, but then you train longer. Murder, Wildcat explains is dangerous. It gives a man too much power, he claims, to be judge and jury over a person's life. So you train until you can aim the arrows to disable and disarm criminals in a single shot. It takes a while before Wildcat brings you out into the field, but you soon prove your worth.
Soon, the public recognize you as their protector. And when you begin to put away major villains, you are their savior. They call you the Arrow, and you can never seem to get tired of a bow being in your hands.
Occansionally you think about Gotham, or read of it in the news, but this is your home now. Its citizens rely on you for protection.
And the Arrow is more than happy to provide it.
