"What?! But you have to!" Zack says, surprised that you obviously don't believe his explanation. "You'll die if you don't come with me!"
"What?!" you exclaim. "Is that a threat?!"
"No no, I didn't mean it like that," Zack says, lowering his voice, looking around in embarrassment. The two men at the counter don't seem to have noticed though, and he continues, "I can't protect you if you don't come with me."
He looks you deep in the eyes and you realize he means it.
"Then why not come with me?" you suggest.
