You suddenly realize how idiotic your words must have sounded.
Zack listens to you patiently, finally raises an eyebrow and says, "Rrrrright. If I wanted to hurt you, don't you think I would have done it by now? I had plenty of opportunity..."

Zack smiles back at you.
Awww, come on. You don't want to part from him now? Just look at him. He's cute, he's sweet and he seems to genuinely care for you and have made it his mission to protect you.
Okay, maybe you don't want to go to that Elmrow place, but you should certainly convince him to come with you, to get to know him better.
