A Sherlock Holmes Case

You are sitting in your living room enjoying a smoke with a colleague named Watson. You puff a perfect cloud of smoke into the air in the already musty room, enjoying the annoyed look the action causes Watson. As you sit, in a constant pondering of the mind, your maid comes in, with a middle-aged man who had a look of concern, and seemed very uncomfortable.

"Mr. Trevor Bennett wishes to speak with you." says your maid, and she leaves the room, leaving Mr.Bennett alone with you and Watson. You welcome him and have him sit down. He takes the chair right in front of you, constantly moving and looking about, as if he is afraid to speak about what is on his mind.

"Hello Mr. Bennett. And what seems to be troubling you?" Watson asks, as you keep evaluating the way he looks, moves, and presents himself.

He sits down on a chair directly in front of you, yet he turns towards Watson to talk. Watson has always been the more approachable one, yet that has never bothered you. You watch Mr.Bennett as he sits, with his eyes never focusing on anything, as if he has a thought in mind that he is struggling to get out and understand.

He takes a deep breath before going on to explain what has happened. "Something is wrong with my employer, and I cannot figure out what that might be for the life of me. He's been acting strange, and I need help finding out what is bothering him. And I know that the only person fit enough to find out what is going on, is you." He looks directly at you at that last part, and you shift your weight in your seat, and take another long puff from your pipe.

"I would love to help, but I cannot do it alone. It is up to my friend here to take on the case. What do you think?" Watson looks at you, and awaits for an answer.

You sit and ponder for a moment about whether or not to take the case, then decide.
