Upon seeing your mad dash towards the fence, a Nazi soldier draws his pistol and takes 3 shoots at you. The first 2 connect, and you go down hard. You struggle for a few seconds then everything goes black.
In reality, anyone under the working age of 14, and most women were immediately marched to the gas chambers upon arrival.
80% of all people who arrived at Auschwitz did not make it passed the first day, most often being executed by gas chambers.

This simulation was used to show how awful the Holocaust really was. I hope that you learned how badly prisoners were treated in death camps. Also, it was very hard for people to survive and they had many awful conditions that they had to deal with. These conditions included starvation, disease, and mass murder. The Holocaust was a serious event which resulted in the death of millions. We should remember this event as one of the worst in mankind, and we should also remember this to prevent anything like this from happening again. Thank you.
