Chosen-7
You scream then run back into your room, where your three-year old cat, Breadstick, has taken over your bed.
"Breadstick get off!" you say. You pick him up and set him on the floor. You jump onto your bed and pull out one of your favorite bedtime stories. Soon after you began reading, Breadstick hisses loudly. You look at him, and see that his back is arched and his fur was on end. He hisses again toward the direction of your closet.
Whatever Breadstick is hissing at can't be good... You think about going over to check on the closet, but what if something attacks you? - like from your dream?
Breadstick makes a *mrow* sound and jumps backward onto your bed.
"Breadstick... what's wrong?" you ask and try to sooth him. You gently stroke his back, making him relax slightly. "What's in the closet, boy?"
Breadstick just hisses again, louder this time, and starts kneading the bed covers with his fluffy paws. Zoe must've heard, because you can hear her thumping up the stairs. A few seconds later, she barges past your door and into your room. She barks ferociously at the closet and then backs up next to the bed, as if protecting you.
"Zoe... what's wrong?" you ask, starting to seriously freak out.
Both of your pets stop making noises and freeze where they are. Breadstick's nose twitches slightly, which means he's probably agitated by whatever's in the closet. Now you're curious to see what causing your pets to freak out.
