Fired!

Upon realizing that it is a cop, we quickly dress up. I open to door as the police officer motions for us to get off the van.

"Driver's license?" asks the female cop, who appears to have a well-toned body under her uniform.

As Karen searches for her license, I hand the cop my driver's license. "Yes, Officer Beck?" I ask, reading her name tag.

"Well, I guess you know you have a number of violations: sex in a public place, indecent exposure, driving under the influence, and parking on the wrong side of the road. So, get in," she commands.

I didn't want to argue about the DUI, since I was taking the fall for Karen. As I obligingly get into the police car, Officer Beck adds, pointing at Karen, "You too."

"No," I say. "She's not part of this. I conned her into doing it here!" Karen gives me a surprised but grateful look. Officer Beck turns to me, apparently trying to gauge the truthfulness of what I had just said.

Does the cop relent?
