The Island of Destiny

You continue to lean against the tree, still so startled to be in body that feels worn down with decades upon decades of nonexistent years. You lean against the tree and, feeling more tired than you have ever felt in your entire life, close your eyes and get ready to die.

But death doesn't happen. Instead you hear a sound, a whistle. You open your eyes and see the girl standing before you once again. But now there is a boy with her as well. He grins and says something to her. She giggles in turn and blushes as she looks at your withering form.

She approaches you. "Still glad you chose the right tunnel?"

"W-why?" you stammer.

"Leah!" the boy shouts. The girl immediately shuts her mouth and flashes you a guilty look.

The boy then walks up to the two of you. "Well, you look about ready to die eh?" he asks you. You are too tired and dehydrated to respond.

"You now need to choose. You can come with us. Or you can stay here and let the island take care of you itself."

You continue to lie there, unsure if you have heard the boy right. He begins to walk away and beckons the girl, Leah, to come with him. What do you do?
