Jan 6, 2021 | I've never been so conflicted over a story in my entire life. That said I love the story for it is a little short its one of the best i have ever read. I remembered doing this back in highschool, and i never completed it so i came back today to finish what i started back then. And honestly i would love to see Necromancer 2 like it's interesting to imagine what would happen in his travels after what happened. As much as i like the god of death end i love the end where your character and his wife just leave that life behind. I look forward to reading more of your stories and you now have another dedicated fan!

Dec 9, 2020 | Played through to the "true" ending, and after the epilogue, I wanted more yet. The little political game of conquering the world was fun and highly variable. I made 3 mistakes along the way, some of which seemed unpredictable. The story arc lasted over an hour and that's without doing much reading of all the dead branches [pun intended] on the side. This is definitely a recommendable and fun adventure.

May 30, 2020 | It's an interesting, well-written story with satisfying endings. I had fun reading it. Made me question my own morals, so an obvious 10/10.

Sep 17, 2013 | Really enjoyed this. Endmaster has a knack for leading you where you want to go -- and throwing in some twists you didn't know you wanted. And I think this is my favorite of his. Very satisfying to read. While it didn't seem to have the same variance of choices that "Ground Zero" had, the overall storyline made you feel that the decisions you made were more "world-wide." This story makes you feel powerful. I also really enjoyed "Eternal" but I felt that the endings weren't as dramatic as the ones here in Necromancer. Best of the Best of the Best imho. |

Nov 28, 2012 | Okay, so, I read this way back in the day. I loved it. I even commented on it once already. But, dude. This world, story, writing... *sigh* EndMaster, you are an amazing writer. Seriously. I've been working on a novel for a year or so now, and I keep thinking about this story. The detail, the dialogue, fucking everything. If I ever get my thing published, would it be alright to list you as one of the inspirations for it? Because you fucking are. Granted, I'm not stealing anything from you, but it IS a fantasy novel, so it has, you know... fantasy shit in it. Anyway, thank you for inspiring me to write in the first place. I'm going back to reading your story now. Again. Because it's amazing. |

Sep 22, 2012 | Well I don't think he was a villain more like a victim of nature we all know we can't defy our true nature no matter how hard we try welp that's my shitty philosophical input.

Jan 3, 2011 | Milianotus is a fucktard who obviously didn't get it. The protagonist is a fucking villian (Should've been pretty obvious with the title and first few pages) and doing evil things are going to be the choices. If you didn't want to be a "sick conqueror" (Lol at your sensitivity) you shouldn't have been reading it in the first place.

Oct 22, 2009 | I loved the beginning, I loved the main character, I loved the idea... but what the fuck?! I didn't want to be any kind of sick conquer of the city! More choices, please, just like there was in the Legend. Very good story, but not a good infinite-story, that's why it's only 6!

Oct 7, 2007 | Well, now that I've done this, End is sure to reset the ratings for sure... right? :) Perhaps you've never put this much THOUGHT into a story before, perhaps you've never hit on a genre agreeable to me, perhaps I'm waking up from a long nap... I don't know. This was a very enjoyable read. Even with my eye for detail, I don't remember any out-and-out errors (although you may want to change "Narrow minded focus on killing someone" on the first page to "Narrow mindedly focusing...") that were so grievous as to destroy my concentration. I particularly enjoyed the fact that some pictures had captions, much like there would be in an ACTUAL book. Have you considered having this published, by the way? Excellent work. I only wish I could focus on any ONE story long enough to do the same. |

Apr 29, 2007 | This is one of those situations where I wish I could give a half-point rating. I would like to give it a 9.5, taking off for some grammar mistakes. I also felt that the story meandered a little bit; it could have been a little tighter in terms of plot. I was happy to see big rooms with lots of action in them, but I would have appreciated even a bit more sensory description. On the plus side, there are some very funny parts of this story and some vivid characters. Also, the plot is interesting and I'm always a fan of the anti-hero. I have decided to base this and future ratings on a relative scale for this site, so I give you a ten based on the fact that this is one of the five best stories I have read here. And thanks for the heads-up on the carpet-munching witches. That means I need to not invite certain friends over for sleepovers anymore. |

Mar 22, 2007 | The sheer number of perfect ratings is astonishing. Part of me wants to ruin that just for the hell of it, but I'd have to be a total ass and pick a freakishly low number just to make a dent. "Surely," I thought, "I could at least find enough flaws to give it a nine." And then I noticed that the story's outcome determined the moment you side between Big Red or the professor, and I was impressed. It flows very well, and doesn't ever seem to stall. It's a bit dialogue heavy in parts...but I get impatient after awhile...and, really, who am I to bicker about excessive verbose-ness? The dialogue and descriptions were either necessary for the visual imagery, or important to the plot or humor. It's long, but I can't really think of anything I could label as 'filler'. The only thing I could possibly whine about is the freakish amount of power that the main characters have, that no one else does. Surely, someone out there would have been just as adept as at nature magic as the protagonist is at necromancy? Surely, the demons couldn't've taken over kingdoms that quickly? Surely, good could've put up more of a fight than just the sister? It all seems excessive. None of the lesser characters are nearly as powerful as the main ones. It's a ridiculous variation of God-modding. But, really, who cares? |

Mar 4, 2007 | Another excellent job EndMaster. This isn't my favorite of your works, but there is so much more detail and story in this than any of your other stories. Excellent plotlines, your character development was great and you actually managed to provide the reader with a series of interesting side characters.

Feb 19, 2007 | This is incredible, the fact that such a great story could be completed in only 2 days. I love the idea controling the "bad" guy for once. Lots of fun and humor too. and the violence-gotta love the violence.

Feb 18, 2007 | This story kept me enthralled. Endmaster created a world similar to others I have seen before, but led me through it in a completely different way. He kept all the details straight throughout the story, and only minor blemishes in the writing quality were encountered. Truly something to be envious of.
