Mysterious Wonder
You feel your skin start to sting above your neck; a mosquito has bitten you on one of your most severe burns. You clutch your neck and stagger forward, falling into the town fountain. The mosquito is gone, and the water works wonders on your wounded body. You hear gasps all around, and are roughly pulled from the water by a pair of strong hands.
"Come on, come on then. Let's get you somewhere to heal up." You nod hazily as he pulls you along, holding your arm around his neck and keeping a steady pace. Your vision slowly begins to worsen and your throat stings, but you are unable to do anything but keep moving forward. Your vision soon grows dark and you fall onto him, limp. The next hour seems like an eternity, but eventually you wake up in a bed. A handsome young man, around the age of 21, looks at you with interest. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Ointments and cloth have been wrapped around your entire body, and your throat feels better. You manage a few words.
