The guard's dead, it's not like he's going to care now
You perform your gruesome work quickly and then go looking for Calvin, who you see walking around in the Merchant's District as well. You approach him.
"Hey, I haven't seen that guard around, I'm guessing that means you took care of him?"
"Sure, I even got proof have a look."
You give a small bloody cloth with the guard's nose and ears. Calvin unfolds and quickly closes it back up and heads the both of you into another alley while looking around.
"Sheesh! Are you nuts? I said kill him, not mutilate the bastard!"
"Yeah, yeah, I think I'll be taking my money now."
"Yeah yeah, sure sure, here's your payment now get out of here." Calvin says handing you a sack of 100 gold pieces.
"Uh this feels a little light." You say.
"Whadda ya mean that's a 100 gold!"
"Yeah exactly, seems to me I helped you out quite a bit, so I'd say that entitles me to a little more of the gold doesn't it?"
Calvin looks like he wants to argue, but given that you already nearly killed before, and now given this latest display of brutality he decides it would be better to give in. He hands you another 50 gold.
"Pleasure doing business." You say and leave Calvin with his "proof"
"Ha ha! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!" Azoth remarks.
