A Date With Hiei
You sit down in the corresponding chair silently. He immediately looks up at you, scowling.
"Keep eating, I don't mind," you say. His scowl weakens slightly, but does not disappear. He resumes devouring the pancakes, ignoring you.
"... Can I have some...?" you request shyly. He looks up again, staring at you in silence for a moment. You look away, knowing the answer.
Much to your surprise, a piece of the pancakes are placed in front of you. Your face lights up, and you pop the food in your mouth, closing your eyes and drooling at its taste.
"Hn."
You open your eyes to find a smirk on Hiei's face. As quickly as it appeared, it goes away, and he consumes the rest of the pancakes.
Once he is finished, he stands up to leave. You, in turn, rise from your chair.
"You ready to go?" You ask. He makes aa passive glance at you.
"I'm leaving," he says. You give him a confused look.
"What about the--"
"The what?" He interrupts, "I was blackmailed into doing this, and as far as I'm concerned, I already did what they wanted me to do."
You stare at him, hurt as he walks to the door.
"Hiei," you say his name quietly. He turns back to look at you for a moment. A smirk crosses his face again, and he continues out the door to your apartment.
