The Villain Manifesto
You've only got one shot, so you mean to loose it before you don't have the chance to do so.
You see a shadowy form splashing down the sewer passage. Just as it is almost upon the body of the dead rogue, it slows its pace. This is just the clear opportunity you've been waiting for!
You take aim at the figure's chest and loose your bolt. You miss, but fortunately, your miss strikes the form in its head instead. You always were a lucky bastard.
You spring from your ambuscade, running to the writhing form... of the other rogue. His hand has somehow retrieved a dagger from his boot. You quickly relieve him of it, and plunge it deep into the center of his throat to finish him off. Yet another evil grin crosses your lips.
It would seem you were born to kill.
You remove the dagger from the newest corpse and wipe it off on your tunic before tucking it into your belt. The blasted rogue has fallen on his quiver, breaking his remaining bolts, and you find nothing else of value on his worthless carcass.
Now, unfortunately, you smell of sewage. This is not the best state in which to roam around town. If not noticed by sight, you would definitely be "sniffed" out.
Perhaps if you stick to the sewer for a while longer, you can either find a place to wash up, or escape the town thereby.
Will you:
