You march directly towards the Captain and call out to him (taunt him actually) for a one on one fight. Surprisingly he seems willing to do just that, except he first sends his two elite bodyguards to intercept you first. You'll have to fight them at the same time.

If you have Fiona with you, she helps you by swooping in and attacking them first and ultimately chasing them down as they flee at the sight of her. (Which means you won't have to fight them)
After the elite guardsmen, the captain nods at you first before attempting to chop your head off.

If you wish, you may call upon the power of the Dark One to help you in this battle assuming you have any "prayers" left to him. Doing this will allow you to add 2 to your combat rolls.
