Legend
You enter the room and see a couple of large Ogre guards in armor standing beside a man with a patch over his eye sitting in a chair with a table in front. As you step forward you feel a crossbow behind your back.
"Don't turn around or even look back, just keep walking forward and take a seat in front of Falcon." A low voice says as you do just that.
"I don't believe I had an appointment with you. Who are you?" the one eyed man known as Falcon asks.
"I have important information on the Thieves' Guild that you want."
"Oh do you now? While I was expecting a meeting to deal with that subject today, but how do I know you are who you say you are?"
"I have all our information about the Thieves' Guild on some documents."
"Very well, if you'll be so kind to hand over the documents, we can complete our transaction. Careful now, wouldn't want my friend with the crossbow to mistake your actions as hostile."
You slowly take out the documents and give them to Falcon, he takes them and looks them over with his one eye. A smile crosses his face.
"Ha ha. This is good. You've done some good work. I'd invite you to join the Syndicate, but I'm aware that your group is pretty fanatical about their dedication. I can only hope that our current arrangement will stay amicable after the big changes that are coming. Make sure you let Reginald know that."
"Okay, yeah I will."
Suddenly Falcon stands up, the ogre guards step forward and that crossbow is now jammed into the back of your head. Falcon's eye looks like it could burn a hole right through you.
"No, I must INSIST that you let that demon worshipping pervert know. Because if he, you or anyone else in your cult decides to betray us, not even the Baron's son is going to be able to protect any of you, let alone whatever god it is you worship. You understand me?"
"Yes. I'll inform him."
"Good, see that you do. Okay well here's your payment according to our deal."
Falcon hands over some sort of ornate sacrificial dagger and a blood red gem.
"Those things weren't easy to come by either, but I'm definitely glad to get rid of that gem. Okay then that concludes our business. You can see yourself out."
You stand up and turn around. Falcon's crossbow man is nowhere to be seen though he's lurking around somewhere no doubt. You quickly make your way back to the Hideout, on your way back; you hear a very strange but alluring voice
"Are you really going to take me back to Reginald? Wouldn't you like to keep me instead?"
You look around a bit ready to strike, but nobody is around. Instead you notice the voice is coming from the gem.
"Ohhhh, you're so ready to shed blood! I like that. Falcon was like that, but unfortunately he didn't like me do you like me?" the voice from the gem says.
"Uh, what are you?"
"I can be everything to you. Please don't hand me over to Reginald, I don't think he'll like me either, especially from what I've overheard Falcon say about him to his cohorts."
"Well, I have to hand you over to Reginald, you're part of the deal, whatever it is you are."
"True, but I have a way around that, just tell Reginald that Falcon never gave you the gem. Conflict is inevitable anyway, you might as well profit from it."
"I see your point, but I'm not sure Reginald will necessarily believe me."
"Ohhh, I have faith that you'll be able to convince him you can do it you have it within you do it for me "
The voice in the gem is really getting to you, but not to the extent that you can't resist.
